Winter LookBook 2022

I’ve put together some amazing winter looks to help you revamp your wardrobe. This is the first instalment of my winter lookbook; the second instalment will be posted soon. I hope you enjoy these looks as much as I do. Winter is my favourite season because there are more options for styling different pieces together. I also believe that winter should not be limited to neutral colours. Winter should also be a time to experiment with fashion and be creative with colours, patterns, materials, prints, and so much more.

LOOK 1

For my first look, I used some very beautiful, vibrant colours. This stunning purple sweater is made of 100% Mongolian Cashmere. Jumper with a mock turtle neck and cable knitted on the side. Ribbed hem , neck, and cuffs match. It’s a great choice for going inside coats and jackets, and it’s your favourite piece in your winter wardrobe.

I choose these lovely berry trousers and this purple sweater top. I wore a red fedora hat and amazing gold heels to amp up the the glam factor of this look. To complement the sweater top, a purple bag was added. This bag came from a charity shop and had been sitting in my closet for years. I decided to add my beautiful red scarf from Shein to this look, along with these amazing sunglasses, to give it a nice chic finish.

Look 2

With it’s flounce sleeve and maxi length, this amazing Shein cut out dress gives me such retro vibes, and it’s finished with a beautiful print of soft neutral tone multicolours. This dress is meant to be worn in the spring or summer, but I couldn’t resist including it in my winter wardrobe. The colour tones, print, and elegance of this dress are also ideal for this season and can be easily paired with a nice coat to keep warm. Of course, I had to include this brown tone baker boy hat, which goes so well with this dress. Of course, I had to include this brown tone baker boy hat, which goes so well with this dress. A better way to make this look winter-ready is to wear knee- high boots.

Look 3

This look made me feel a lot like Cruella haha. Look at me channelling my inner Cruella de Vil. The coat was a big part of setting the tone for this. It’s being transformed into a baddie vibe. I did a black & white look last year, but this one really knocked it out of the park. This is my favourite black and white outfit. The sunglasses, gloves and black pumps completed this look.

Look 4

4th Look, because it is cold season, I decided to layer. Leather trousers are in style this winter. I wore this black turtleneck top with my favourite black Shein leather trousers. I went with a nice buttoned up beige shirt to add layers to this. I wanted to make this look different and unique by leaving it open and with sleeves. If you dislike the cold, you can always re-create this look buttoned up in your own style. Fedora hats are also popular this season, so I wore my favourite black fedora hat with both the leather trousers and the turtle neck top. This is what I call a mix and match.

Look 5

With this kind of weather, it’s definitely coat season. This Teddy Faux Coat from Boohoo is ideal for keeping me warm. My only complaint is the shedding of the inner fur. To complement the white boots and coat, I wore this with beige pants and a turtle neck white top. Adding some sunglasses to complete this winter baddie chic x street style wear.

Look 6

I’m currently obsessed with accessories. They have the ability to drastically alter a person’s appearance in such a short period of time. This fur sleeveless jacket had been sitting in my closet for a few years. I decided to add this piece to this look to make it more polished.

Look 7

I’m really pleased with how this look turned out. This is a skirt and a top sold separately as a set. I decided to pair it with my Louis Vuitton scarf and a belt to tie these pieces together and create a very chic look. To complete the look with the boots, I had to add the baker boy hat. It appears to be a dress in the photos, but it is not. This look is very different and one-of-a-kind; I rarely see people wearing scarves in this way. Give it a shot.

Look 8

Grey and Orange monochrome style. Who’d have guessed these two fantastic colours would look so good together?

I really like how this look turned out, especially with the yellow and orange scarf to go with the trousers. Everything in this shot is very well-balanced. The background matches the top, honey I am all about aesthetic. I enjoy incorporating colour into my winter collection.

Look 9

From Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe to Madonna Ciccone, all my looks are really styles that ensembles from back in the 90’s & 80’s. These ladies really nailed the fashion looks. Marilyn Monroe style was just impeccable. She was a big fan of scarfs and wore them effortlessly. She will forever be one of my fashion icons. I used my boss babe vibe to create this outfit. To dress up the appearance, I added purple leggings, a scarf over my head, and gloves. With houndstooth print, I did another monotone outfit. The houndstooth pattern has been around for a long time and is slowly making a comeback in popularity. This is, without a doubt, my favourite winter print. The houndstooth pattern on my scarf matches the houndstooth pattern on the belted jacket. Of course, a look inspired by the 1980s wouldn’t be complete without a pair of brightly coloured pointy toe heels.

Look 10

Look 10, I’m blown away with the result of this simple yet elegant appearance. To take this appearance to the next level, I added a fedora hat. It’s remarkable how accessories can transform an ordinary outfit into something spectacular. This is another monochrome style that I created using a brown and black combination. Because these are two of the most popular winter colours, I decided to mix them. During the winter, I’m completely infatuated with boots. I’m looking forward to expanding my boot collection next winter.
